Meet the team

Hi, my name is Purnima,
you can call me Puma!

I am the lead teacher at True Nature Kid!
I'm a mother, a learner, and a nature lover!
I received my Bachelor's of Education
from UBC Vancouver, in 2017.
I also have a Bachelor of Fine Arts
from California College of the Arts.
I believe that learning is a lifelong inquiry
and should be fun and engaging.
I like to make time to read
awesome children's books to my daughter,
go on long walks and bike rides,
be surrounded by nature, do yoga,
cook delicious healthy meals for my family,
make art, and dance for fun!

I did my Emergency Child Care First Aid
+ CPR B / AED (Oct. 2023).

Meet Tibo

Tibo grew up with roots in France
and Belgium and now calls Canada home.
He holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from ESA Saint-Luc in Brussels and a Horticulture degree from the UBC Vancouver Botanical Garden.
He has completed
Responsible Adult training,
a Criminal Record Check, and Child First Aid + CPR certification (Nov. 2025), grounding his gentle presence in strong safety and care.
We’re so grateful to have Tibo on our team
for his contagious smile, his deep love of plants, and the way his artistic spirit fills our walks with curiosity, magic, and meaningful connection
to the natural world.
